I think “we” obviously know if that ship is “hot” or not.
A bit strange this story would be so low key if it was.
Also a bit strange the US and world financial markets collapse so suddenly and within short period of time after this incident.
Blackmail? Players with butts to cover= Iran and China.
ping
I find it interesting that the Russians were claiming this was a floating dirty bomb.
Liberals would call such a war “for oil”. The Russians would use such a label to justify their invasion of Ukraine.
Religion of Peace Ping.
Yeah, what a ‘shocker’. I wonder what the Mansourian Candidate says now?
“Iran is a tiny country.”
“Let’s sit down and talk.”
Well, it certainly would have helped OPEC with oil prices if it had worked.
Stories that make you go, “Hmmmm.....”
I’d say this one is something McCain should address quickly if it’s solid enough.
I don’t think an attack like this would make Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, or especially Hamas very happy.
Goan sailor released by pirates expected home within fortnight
From the link...
An Indian sailor from Goa, who was one of the 26 crewmembers of an Iranian cargo ship released by Somali pirates, is expected back home within a fortnight his mother said Saturday, adding that he will probably return to his job.
Why the two week wait I wonder?
Almost since this started I’ve wondered if the CIA had a hand in the pirates hijacking that particular ship just to derail the dirty bomb plans. The only problem is that I don’t think the CIA is capable of anything that good.
This ought to be confirmed one way or another. This justifies the take down of the Iranian regime. Not just it's nuclear program, the regime is a threat to us, to Israel, to the rest of the world. Take them out.
“[Russian sources claim she] was an enormous floating dirty bomb, intended to detonate after exiting the Suez Canal at the eastern end of the Mediterranean and in proximity to the coastal cities of Israel.”
Any source link for that?
Why would the Russians make such a serious accusation?
Two pictures accompany this article. The first shows a ship at sea being approached by some men in a small boat. That ship is loaded with cargo and is deep in the water.
The second picture shows a ship tied to a dock. This second ship is empty, floating so high in the water that its bulbous nose is even out of the water.
Then the article says that the containers on the ship had not been unloaded.
Nothing in this article makes any sense:
Especially the assertion that this was a ship filled with radioactive sand destined to be exploded off the coast of Israel.
Pathetic.
Puzzle pieces fall in place.
The plot thickens.
The thick plot.
Thx.
For ‘tis sport to have the engineer hoist on his own petard.
A good reason to shock and awe Iran and maybe kickoff the war with China?
With Russia prodding things so someone else will deal with the “yellow devil” on their borders?
Cant have a new world order without willing participants and good old fashioned war to wipe out a few millions of us bottom feeders.
Wouldn’t it make sense that the crew of such a ship be armed and more than ready to repulse boarders?
Wouldn’t it make sense that the Iranians would use a non-Iranian flagged vessel, if only to deflect suspicion that might jeopardize the mission?
