immenent reinstarement of the draft, which of course not only never happened, but was voted against by its own sponsor, Democrat Charlie Rangel
That was priceless, especially his whining afterward that actually bringing it to a vote was playing politics.

I love the Kos poster who wrote glowingly about V in an attempt to sound academic elite, then states his next favorite movie of the year is Batman.

I like it when you post links to your Newsbusters articles. It gives me a chance to look around that site and read some of their comments. It seems there are a lot of knowledgeable people posting over there. You need to tell Newsbusters, however, that they need to number their posts. That way posters can brag about being in the top 100 like me! Woo hoo!

Actually one of the Robert Service poems could be used in a Sunday service. It was about some guy at St. Pete's Gate who was a real scoundrel. Everything in his record from his worldly life said he needed to go on the Down Escalator. HOWEVER, the Gatekeeper also noted that the scoundrel was very kind to a dog he had found and for that he got the ride on the Up Escalator. I think there was more to it than that but am working only from vague memory.

It seems there are a lot of knowledgeable people posting over there. If you have an RSS Reader, I definitely recommend you add NewsBusters to your list so you can be constantly updated. I find that Bloglines is definitely the BEST newsreader since it is Web based and won't take up 'puter memory.

Sutler swept to power in convincing fashion... Well, their comparison of Sutler to the eeeeeevil George W. Bush falls apart right there! Supposedly, "*" was "selected, not elected" and he "stole" two elections, so can they claim that he "swept to power in convincing fashion"?

Would Ron Jeremy be co-starring in this one?

Got that right!
Willie (Robert Englund) went on to become Freddie Krueger in all those "Nightmare on Elm Street" movies....He was good comic relief on "V", but Diana was HOT for a lizard!!!
