Trump "political" dead man walking.

Posted on 03/24/2018 6:39:27 AM PDT by RevelationDavid

Vanity post.

The bomb of a budget that the final effects of which may kill our nation....

Congress put this bomb together.....BUT it was Trump who pushed the detonator...!

He said he will not push 'it' again..."no, no, never again"...

...so what...he already did.

I believe that Trump is done.... I had hoped he would be 'different'...he's not.

I am a fiscal conservative, evangelical Christian, America first, value voter....and there are millions just like me. This 'budget' betrays every single one of those values.

2018 to the dems.. Tidal wave.....impeachment will follow...and not many will 'stand' in the gap for Trump now.

Trump lost 'the wind' and spent most of his capitol on this insane blunder... ...the 2018 turnout will be pitiful for the GOP...(why vote for Republicans?)...and huge for the Dem's.

But ask yourself a question...as far as the budget goes "what difference does it make".....:(...NONE.

This is the day our Republic died. We have NO VOICE of reason...and a 2nd Amendment solution is our only hope now...perhaps it is the only 'voice' left to us.

Instead of calling names like a school yard bully how about putting forth reasoned adult arguments?

Hahaha…nice try, Jose. How much did Soros pay you for this poor attempt at propaganda? If it was more than a buck, he overpaid.

My thought exactly. I think there is a very real possibility Trump is going to take the fight to NK (China, by proxy) and Iran. And that also depends if Russia wants to get frisky, which I don’t think they will. And our military readiness (not heart or prowess) has been decimated over the past 8-10 yrs. We may not yet be able to do what Trump wants to do and Mattis knows that.

Yep. I believe it will almost certainly, at some point, come to blows. I think we dodged a bullet at the bundy ranch.

They are all over this site like a bunch of sneaky vampires. They do this why can’t we dissent BS just like libs. Hah!

He’s definitely selling us out on amnesty, repeatedly let his wall get short-changed, and now sided with Democrats to infringe upon our 2nd amendment. It’s a mixed bag.

He has also refused to fire his absolutely, in-your-face WORTHLESS Attorney General who hasn’t prosecuted even ONE of the RAT bastards who were subverting the system to destroy Trump.

What happened to the campaign promise of having his AG go after the Clintons for their crimes? How many years are we supposed to sit around saying “Oh, yeah! It’s coming any day now! Q says so!” or some such nonsense? It’s already been nearly a year and a half. To me, that’s long ENOUGH to see SOME legal action taken against these people. But... nothing.

Guess what? Without a military that can defend the nation, and possibly go offensive/defensive overseas, it’s all academic, anyway.

This will be used by closet Never Trumpers as a way to come out of the closet and persuade conservatives to abandon all hope and turn their backs on the MAGA agenda.

Great points. We all would have liked to see the political fight continue over this budget and we have had many on this forum who are not really saavy about certain issues spout off with not really having all the facts. The military is in real serious trouble and needs this money as we are slowly but surely coming out of all the draconian measures that traitor OBuggery out on our defense community. I am a member of the defense community and contacted my Congressman about this bill who is very fiscally conservative and normally would have voted no on something like this. Most of this bill (60%+) was DoD related and very important to our national security. He sent me a very well written letter about why he had to support it. I know quite a bit about our defense needs but he explained things to me that I did not know about but in my professional opinion which we cannot ignore nor have delay from a national security perspective. It had to go through immediately and there was no political leeway to fight this further because the risks to military readiness were falling into the “red” areas. It is also important to note that this is an Omnibus bill and not a budget therefore the President can do as Obama did and not even spend the money on these extra pork projects.

Where do you get that BS?! If you must, look back and you will see that I am one of the first Trump supporters on this site, previously supported Lyn’ Ted. I still support Trump, but I am not a Kool-Aid drinker, nor keep a tube of Vaseline around. I will speak up when I disagree. You should do, else we presume you support infringing on 2nd amendment rights, giving amnesty to millions of illegal aliens, funding sanctuary cities, funding Planned Parenthood, etc. Your choice.

Or is it? The start?

I will add this comment I posted on another thread.

Most posters don’t understand that this is just the Omnibus Bill. It is comparable to asking for a WORST ESTIMATE on a repair job.

BUT, it does not mean that they can just spend all the money instantly. There is a process that must be gone through for each item. This will mean he will have to spend time fighting some of the requests. The plan is to keep Trump occupied fighting against everything. That is why he didn’t like this bill, plus he didn’t know every detail of what was in it. It was not physically possible for any human to read the whole thing , given the very, very, very, very short time it was available to him.

So, he was left no option but to sign it. Despite what all the other posters say, there is not a single one of them that could take Donald Trump’s place and do a better job.

If we are to win this battle, WE the troops must support our leader. The enemy wants us to turn against our President. They want the easy win. Don’t give it to them.

It’s not the gun, it’s what you do with it.
It’s not the Omnibus Bill, it’s what will be done with it.

We all will be part of deciding how the money is spent. We all need to demand it be spent properly.

We the people are the only ones who can save us.

Patience. People are still looking into Whitewater.

There is a lot we probably do not know or see going on.

A war consists of many battles and skirmishes. Learn from setbacks and come out harder next battle. I’ll stick with our fighter since there doesn’t seem to be anyone else wanting change.

-

I understand losing an occasional battle. But yesterday, our general put his feet up on the desk and handed the enemy the keys to the kingdom without lifting a finger to do anything about it. That’s what really bothers me. Then he looked us in the face, spouted a whole lot of crap about the “good” things in this bill, then tried to divert our attention with shiny little objects like no trannies in the military. Whoop-de-do.
