There is a fine line between apprehension and “fear.” The human survival instinct manifests itself in many ways. Being apprehensive shows common sense and isn’t limited by gender. Taking any of the scenarios the author referenced a man is as likely to be apprehensive as a woman. Being aware of your surroundings and situations, only shows common sense which while being more prevalent in one gender over another, it’s not exclusive.

One of the primary ways one can avoid threats is to avoid situations wherein the majority of problems arise. For instance, a white person may be advised to avoid any travel at night along any road named after ML King or Malcolm X. Black people may wish to avoid areas called Confederate anything. Risk avoidance works most times. Crooks would be well advised to not burglar a home with a sign that says “protected by 357”.
I doubt they will comprehend the fact that throwaway hashtags left on the high-tech equivalent of a bathroom wall is actually the quickest way to trivialize their personal horror stories (if there is any horror) and the issue at large.
1) Men and women are exactly alike in all ways.
2) Women live in fear and this is something that men simply do not understand.
3) Women cannot change and it is unreasonable to ask them to change.

Hey lady, and Hillary and other woman parroting this fear crap, for many decades I used to have daily “fear” (various people, situations, the future etc) but then I found Jesus CHRIST and God’s word in the bible -
FEAR NOT, cast your cares upon God, Trust in the LORD with ALL your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge HIM HIM HIM and HE will make straight your path (all sorts of paths/choices).
Jesus is all you really need. Anything else/other “fear” is your own self made/satan influenced thoughts.

I have been listening to the radio and this is at the edge of mass hysteria.
This reminds me of the “recovered memories” witchhunt of years ago when fathers and father-figures were hounded, prosecuted, persecuted, sometimes to the point of literal suicide, by “recovered memories” of sexual abuse.
For those that remember, this ended up being 100% false — the memories were IMPLANTED not RECOVERED, and the men whose lives were destroyed got a crooked grin and a shrugged “whoops” in response.
Well guys, be very, very frightened. If you have ever interacted with a female in your professional career, there is now a greater than 50% chance you will be fingered as having “sexually harassed” females in your sphere.
Even if it never happened, the desire of so many misandrist feminazis to just destroy men AND be able to play along (”#metoo! I mean it! In 2003 Mr. FD2003 touched my shoulder and asked how I was feeling! I was scared of men FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!”) is about to be, as they say, “a thing.”

For every Me too, from this day forward, I would like to see a letter of complaint to Human Resources detailed the event, when and where it happened and who witnessed it.
If not that, I would like to see a police report.
If this has happened as many times as I’ve seen the MeToo bullshit, the jails would be full and I would be the only man working in Senior Management.
I dont deny that any of these have happened. There are a lot of fools and A-hole men. But the question you ask that gets you in trouble is “What did you do about it?”
This is not 1910 any more. Any man out there can tell you the consequences of a complaint—real or perceived.
