I went to some state website...and there was a long list of rules...for harvesting....ginseng.
the people who write these “news” stories” dont bother with small details....when there’s “blood” to display
The squirrel doesn’t seem to be all that wild.
I hate these local news outfits. No damn mention of even the friggin’ state they are in. Like we are supposed to know where Bedford is. Stupid journalism.
wow.
The micromanagement never ends
You can only harvest or possess RAW ginseng in season.
Are you sure that’s not the squirrel?
FTA: ...dealing heroin over 5 grams with a firearm....
(((
I would like to see a video of that.
Indiana.
(Flag flies through air)
15 Yards penalty, Piling on!
Still first down!
im calling Micro Aggression...on this one...
Ginseng out of season?
Grab the rope, boys, lets string him up!
Psssst. Hey, bro. Got any “squirrel” on ya? I’m jonesin’ bad!
why?
"He had a squirrel??? HOLD ON! I'm pardoning him for all his other crimes. Bring the squirrel to my office. And the popcorn popper."
Yeronner, my clients are being unduly hoorassed. If the squirrel was freely running around the house eating cat food how can they be charged with possession of it? The squirrel was obviously there by its own free will. I demand that you drop these scurrilous charges and allow them to go about their peaceable lives in the holler.
Very valuable, can’t be cultivated.
Ginseng Farms exist
They better own a ginseng farm then.
FWIW cultivated doesn’t command as high a price as wild grown. In fact there’s a grade that is planted in the woods that is considered better than farm grown but not as good as truly wild ginseng.
I imagine that is very true!
