I’ve never heard of Pinkney. Interesting thread; links; comments at links. Thanks to linkers/researchers/educators/posters. It’s all important to come to a somewhat informed assessment of any situation and its potential wider effects.

Activist found guilty

Highlights:

1988 - assault with a dangerous weapon out of California
1990 - theft conviction out of St. Louis, Missouri
1999 - convicted in Berrien County of embezzlement
2007 - convicted 4 felony counts of violating election laws.
Other info from other articles:
Berrien County Prosecutor Michael Sepic said an investigation by the Berrien County Sheriff's Department found that Pinkney allegedly altered dates on five recall petitions so the signatures would fit into the 60-day collection window.

There was absolutely no evidence to convict Pinkney, and, legally, the altering of a petition document should have been a misdemeanor offense. Instead, they charged him with felony forgery - though no signatures were forged and all signatories testified that they signed willingly on the correct day.

That seems to stretch the credulity of the justice system there a bit thin.

The same crap happens to white people for similar level bullcrap (think EPA violations and similar). Just because there's currently a big dog and pony show going on over s*** like Ferguson and the cigarette seller and the subject is probably a progressive libtard, doesn't mean we can't objectively look at what appears to at least be a torturing of justice in his conviction and sentencing.

“They are looking at Michigan as a glove for dictatorship. And the predominantly black communities are the test tubes.”

Huh? What?

Thank you. Election fraud is serious. Hate to get the news from radical leftists.

...five felony counts of "forgery under the Michigan election law" Judge Schrock cites election honesty, while over 51 percent of Michigan's Black residents have no real election rights.
...as a consequence of not bothering to register to vote. The remaining 49 percent break down thus -- 39 percent don't bother to vote, 10 percent vote multiple times.
