Wilson used ‘reasonable fear’ to hide his ‘issues with people of color’: Analyst

An analyst says Darren Wilson used ‘reasonable fear’ legal loophole to get even with an African American teenager.

An American political commentator who is also a trained paralegal says white police officer Darren Wilson, who was not indicted for killing an African American teenager in Ferguson, had “issues with people of color”, but he hid them under the legal loophole of “reasonable fear”.

Speaking with Press TV in a phone interview on Tuesday, Susanne Posel, chief editor at OccupyCorporatism and the US Independent.com, said, “The legal definition of reasonable fear is what’s keeping us from indicting him.”

Posel’s comments come after St. Louis County prosecutor Robert McCulloch said that Darren Wilson would not be indicted and that he would not even face charges for killing the 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson on August 9.

“It’s obvious that Darren Wilson overreacted, and someone who is overreacting should not be in charge of a semi-automatic weapon where they can do harm to other people, even in an official capacity like a police officer,” Posel said.

But the unfortunate part about the grand jury’s decision is “the legal definition of reasonable fear and that is something that I don’t think, and I’m assuming this that most of the protesters understand,” she continued.

“It’s a legal loophole where police officers are given basically carte blanche if they say that they have a reasonable fear that their life is in danger, the grand jury has to prove that they were not in a reasonable fear that their life was in danger,” Posel noted.

She explained that giving police officers a green light to shoot at people whenever they “feel” their life is in danger is a legal loophole under which officers might even hide their own personal issues with citizens.

She said that it would be very difficult to disprove in a court of law what a cop says he has felt. “First of all you can’t prove a negative, and second of all you can’t disprove someone’s feelings since the law allows the police officers to use excessive or deadly force when they feel that their life is in danger.”

“This is a problem,” she added. “Police officers should not be given carte blanche to just shoot at people because they think they might be in danger.”

Posel also pointed out Darren Wilson’s reputation of a rookie cop, who was fired for targeting African Americans along with three other officers. She said it showed that “the mindset of Wilson might not be that he fears his life is in danger but that he has issues with people of color” and he is using fear to hide “under this clause”.

I think the Prosecutor responded correctly last night to the “Journalist” who stated in his question that police shoot blacks with “impunity.”

They do not.

If a “reasonable fear” of imminent death or great bodily harm is not the standard that one who uses deadly self defense is judged by, then what standard does this liberal lunatic paralegal and the reporter at the press conference suggest should be used?

It’s a complicated story. I stumbled on it because I wanted to know who Pete Santilli was. He was behind the truckers protest in D.C. in 2013. Which I figured out because they sent people to his website, The Guerilla Media Network. And his show ran at the link. It lead me to the feud between Pete and Susanne Posel, who he fired off his show. Posel has gone after Pete after being fired. Vinny Eastwood comes in because he seems to be a co-creator of Posel’s rival site to Pete’s called The Real Guerilla Media Network. They even fought over copyrights for their two sites. Vinny has his own web show so she goes on it frequently.

The other shoe is Pete has been going after Alex Jones. That started when Pete, who runs his show online and on The Rense Network, has been unhappy with many things he learned about Alex Jones. But also he and his cohorts are truthers so they disagreed with some theories Alex had. Pete supports a Dr. Judy Wood, but Alex does not.

Susanne Posel seems to have turned on many of the opinions of Pete. When Occupy got big she joined the movement. So in 2011 she launched her Occupy Corporatism site, which is her news website. The other site The Real Guerilla Media Network is for independent media journalists, radio hosts, activists and documentary filmmakers worldwide.

As for Pete, his story is another long complicated one and a bit conflicting depending on his you believe Posel or his bio at his site. But it sounds like he was active in the truther movement and with conspiracy guys and as soon as he found Alex Jones he converted to a follower.

But he started to disagree with Jones overtime so he felt he had to get his own show to express his views. if you don’t know there are many sites out there created to run web shows and also that supposedly alternative/conspiracy in nature. Pete go into the American Free Radio Network.
But it was run to the ground by bad management.

So Pete had to move to Blog talk radio while creating his own site. The became The Guerrilla Media Network site. But as that happened, he fired Posel over a disagreement about direction of his show and differing opinions about the various topics. Pete befriended a lot of people because they all moved in another direction. Posel moved into the Occupy Movement direction.

Pete has moved into a more Alex Jones and libertarian direction. But Pet is vastly different than Jones or even Jeff Rense. If anything Pete is the foil for Alex Jones.
It would take me a long post to explain who Pete and what he believes. But I will say that Pete is quiet a character.

I wish he wasn’t into trutherism. I also wish he weren’t aligned with the site before It’s News where he reads and posts articles sometimes. Sometimes he makes sense. And he hasn’t been focusing on Trutherism much lately.

Guy got heavily invested into The Cliven Bundy story and was at the protests and the standoff.
