Daniel prayed, every morning, noon and night!
We are to make praying a way of life and acknowledge HIM in all we do. Not only because we are told to do it but as a mature Christian you see the results - just as Jesus says in His Word. You can never out give God - He pours His blessings on us when ‘we believe’ when ‘we trust’ Him in spite of anything going around about us.
It’s all about a relationship w/God and not the do’s and don’t’s- they automatically take care of themselves when one KNOWS HIM. Peter, Paul, Stephen,John the Baptist, Esther ‘if I perish, I perish’, et al, couldn’t do what they did on their own - it’s KNOWING Jesus that they were able to do and wanted to do. And Jesus is The Word.
