Surely even Mormons must agree that not every Mormon is necessarily a wonderful presidential candidate. I am not familiar with the machinations of the Mormon community. I’ve only seen the evangelical and Catholic churches and what they typically do. But why hasn’t anyone in Salt Lake City stepped up to bell this rogue cat Mitt (aren’t there even higher muckety mucks than bishops?) puzzles me, even if Mormons were only a secular organization that championed generic principles of morality. Mitt is NOT a flattering advertisement for the LDS.

Neither is Harry Reid, also Mormon. Yes, there are higher authorities in the church. They tell you what you SHOULD do, not what you MUST do Then you either go as you’re going or try to get closer to what they have been telling you, and depend on Jesus’ s mercy to get you the rest of the way home. Much as Baptists & Catholics do. I do not know if Romney & Reid are satisfied with their choices or not.
