You’ll be in the same group of navel gazers should (God forbid) Obama win again that pisses and moans about how the Republicans got their asses kicked again...

Well, give up prophesying as your side job...you're not very good at it, just like you flunked 19th century history in your earlier post.

Start getting a REAL education as to why the GoP is getting their asses kicked...you can start with how they are now only 29% of all registered voters...and how Romney will take them way below that...

Sorry, but that figure doesn't have ONE THING to do with what any given FREEPER has said -- or refrained from saying...

You're just a grand illusionist into hyperbole...like this other statement you made:

If you were half as concerned and interested in how to get this Communist/Marxist fraud out of office as you were whether or not Mitt is a false prophet he’d win in a 49 state landslide.

Is Texas another planet? You SUDDENLY think blue states like California and NY would turn red? Really? Or the Republic of Vermont? And all on the drop of what I say on FR? Are you that far gone into your illusion?

Actually, it's the failure of the true principled conservatives to encourage voters in those leftist states to vote for Virgil Goode (even if they have to write him in) which sends the clear signal to the GoP, "Give us more RINOs forever..." which in turn chases more conservatives away...

Or did you conveniently forget that Evangelicals were 34% of the ENTIRE 2010 vote? (Not just 34% of the GoP vote)

You’re an idiot...This petty bigoted crap over his Religion is making us look like the unhinged left we normally poke fun at. Grow the eff up people

Wow! So winsome in drawing others to your side...Get a sales job and try that pitch on a would-be customer.

Now let's say Romney wins...

...Just imagine...having such a Wacky belief guy in the WH...with EVERY liberal media outlet for four LONG years, day in, drip...drip...drip...highlighting the beliefs of the "wacky one" -- the one "brand" who Republicans decided to entrust their eternal reputation with...

Ah...I can see it now...Letterman monologues...Kimmel monologues...SNL skits...viral Youtubes...etc.

Think about that: A Romney presidency for four years on top of what we've already gone thru (2007 & part of 2008; plus 2011-2012)...almost six years of Mormonism this, and Mormonism that...And then, if, miraculously, Romney won re-election in 2016...you could read, hear about Mormonism DAILY for the next 8+ years...

And then the Mormon church, thinking this is THEIR "Mormon moment" opportunity to expend a $1Billion in marketing & advertising -- their "point of arrival" -- will make EVERYTHING all about Mormonism, anyway!!!

And the PR & Marketing will draw responses from Mormonism's opponents on the right, and the left.

(And all this...whether a FREEPER or two or three would e'er e'en post anything the MSM ever did on Mormonism again)

Imagine that!

Enjoy your daily Mormon percolated coffee...courtesy of the MSM...

...drip, drip, drip...

for the next 4-8+ years! ...

It won't be "waterboarding"...it'll be "Mormon coffee"boarding!!!!

The Dems & MSM will successfully re-brand the GoP as the wacky voters who put the wacky guy in the wacky White House!!!

There's the reputation that won't ever be salvaged...the GoP will become the new Whigs...extinct

Typo. Palin is for Romney and Ryan and the tea party is now getting on board.

The only ones still pouting like children not getting their favorite toy on Christmas are the. Paulbots and the 100/100 crowd who never unified behind someone in the primary.

If push came to shove, and maybe some Jack Daniels truth serum, many neverMitts would probably admit that FR does not have huge influence among larger unwashed America

We don't even have much of an influence among conservatives, never mind larger unwashed America. We used to. Not anymore. You've been here longer than I have. Surely, you've noticed.

'Please explain to god your actions to give obama a second term. You people are insane.'

They're pretty much idealogue wacks, Glock....

Here's something you never hear these characters consider..

QUESTION:

Who is more likely to be turned around i.e. change his mind on some of his ideas...? (assuming Mitt is in the wrong)

Mitt or Obama...?

With Mitt there is expectation he'll come around to a more conservative view on some things they don't like ...with Obama it's curtains for us all...

Why do u reckon this has never occured to these SIMPLETONS? Maybe some psychiatrists out there on the web can explain this in terms of an explanation contained in the literature of abnormal psychiatry..............

Please, some PSYCHIATRIST .....help us.... explain to us what's going on inside their heads.....so we can turn THEM around.

The time is NOW, folks. Good God Almighty; it is NOW.

I agree, cricket. The time *is* now to fight. The problem is supporting Romney is not "fighting". When genuine conservatives are directed to support an amnesty-granting, baby-killing, gun-grabbing, bailout-providing, healthcare-ransoming, homosexual-advocating, stimulus-providing liberal candidate, "surrender" is the order of the day.

Mitt Romney does not expect to become “a god.” He strives to emulate Jesus ...

So Mitt's father's cousin, Marion G. Romney, either lied or falsely prophesied? (See post #1207)

So did Mitt's "prophet" in the 70s, Spencer W. Kimball?

Yet Mitt told us he will stay faithful to "the faith of his fathers."

Just don’t come back, or if you want them to ban you, cuss them out and tell them off, that will usually do it. Or post about how much you love gays. That is a sure zot, and should be. If I leave for good, I’m trying to decide whether to just fade away or go out with a bang. I keep hoping things will change back to how they were when I joined, but I’m just getting a very pro-Ovomit, DU feel lately. The trolls are given free reign to bash the GOP candidate, I can’t take it much more.

For those still struggling, and JimRob who seems quite
steadfast, i would paraphrase Golda Mier.
You will have to decide if you love your country more that you hate Mitt Romney.

When i punch that hole, i will be visualizing two faces.
Those of Paul Ryan and my sweet grandson Caleb.

After the last 4 years of hell under Obama , these people are mostly full of S>€£ saying their principles won’t allow them to vote ABO but will gleefully hand Obama a second term.

Yeah, they are afraid of answering to god for voting for romeny, but they think it’s alright to engage in a course of action to give Obama second term.

LMFAO at that reasoning. They must be in the. Choom bus w Obama to buy into that.

Not voting for Romney is usually not about a third party movement.

It’s about not following lock step behind the GOP no matter what it does.

As I have said, the GOP-e types know that many will vote for whoever they put up, as in lesser of two evils

Therefore, they keep marginalizing Conservatives and run left leaning RINO’s.

The blame will be on the GOP when Romney loses, not on those that refuse to help them continue their mission of promoting liberal candidates by voting for them on a ABO reasoning ideal.

They are pretty good at getting republicans to vote for inferior candidates as they sit back and laugh at how they have snookered their base.

The Tea Party will survive, Conservatives will continue to be relevant at the grass roots level and in political office as we vote more and more of them in on the local level.

'Xactly. You know, it's interesting watching all the dramababble unfold on this thread over Jim's remarks. The owner of this site has been steadfastly consistent with his conservative opposition to Romney and his well documented liberal agenda. All the hair pulling out in clumps and pathetic opus whines because some true conservative FReeepers refuse to go along to get along, ad nauseum. What's amazing to witness is how many so called conservative FReepers will readily abandon conservatism and good sense in absolute fear by jumping on the presumptive nominee Romney train. The same sordid thing happened in '08 with McCain. Makes me want to puke. The GOP-E does NOT own my vote. For you FReepers hell bent on pushing Romney down our collective throats- get a frikkin' CLUE. This is a CONSERVATIVE site, not a cheerleading section of the GOP that now, by consent, supports a candidate with a dirty laundry list of liberal executive actions and pronouncements.

It is much easier to get a REPUBLICAN President to sign bills into law from a REPUBLICAN Congress.

On this I absolutely agree with you. Unfortunately for your case, a liberal democrat with an "R" behind his name would be that republican president. And the agenda in congress would be driven by a hoard of RINO's we have not yet replaced. So the preponderance of bills passed into law may not work out so well for We the People. Given Romney's governorship, four to eight years of his "leadership" will be nearly as disasterous as Obama's. And, because of that "R" behind his name, our earliest opportunity to oust him will be 12 years from now. I'm not going to wait that long for a "do-over" willingly. Nor am I willingly going to give him 8 years to marginalize the genuine conservatives we install into Congress. I feel for Paul Ryan; he's a good man and I respect him. But after four or eight years of being VP under Romney, the probability of him ascending to the presidency is equivalent to Dan Quayle's.

"...You’re right, Romney is a milquetoast liberal...Republican. I’m still going to vote for Romney anyway though, even if I had to stomp across a carpet of bibles wearing muddy fishing boots to a polling place that was in the back room of a Planned Parenthood clinic and tongue-kiss Sarah Brady before I could cast my ballot..."

"You may well have the record, at least so far, for marking the depths to which Romney Republicans will go."

I think you're right; he does. I thought I'd seen the worst when a Freeper said he'd sell his soul to Satan to vote for Romney. But this last one is worse.

"Stomp across a carpet of Bibles wearing muddy fishing boots". Wow. Lord God, have mercy.
