What is the total count? I think it is extremely important to have an accurate count so we can point this as a mainstream movement that has a large following in America.

I was there when they asked people to text and I was the only one that I could see in my general vicinity who got their phones out...that wasn’t about counting people, that was about keeping in touch with people and getting them into the FREEDOMWORKS database I would suspect.

UM, a bit off topic, but Fox now says that Obama got about 15,000 in his MN rally! That's it? There should be more than that in Socialist Minnesota. Well, looks like ObamaCare is dead on arrival. The Senate will kill the bill, several Democratic Senators will not vote for it.

TAKE ACTION NOW - NO MORE SITTING ON THE SIDELINES
The thing we have to do now, without any hesitation, is vote out this current Congress in 2010. Then take back our Nation in 2012. If we do not mobilize ourselves and others now to do this in ways far beyond where most of us have ever engaged in political matters, we will lose this country. And have ourselves to blame.
FRIENDS, WE CAN NO LONGER JUST 'PREACH TO THE CHOIR' -- WE MUST CARRY THIS MESSAGE TO ALL WE KNOW AND ACT NOW. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.

I went to our local one - in the rain.
He gave them two options, but both were texting. The cameras did show several people with their cell phones.
Molly Hennenberg (sp?) with Fox just interviewed a lady there - saying she wanted her great-grandchildren to have an America like she had to grow up in.

I wonder if you can still go up in the Washington Monument and take pictures. If so there should be some beauties on the way.

I just Washington today enough to overflow the mall of America and out onto E street. And packed in metropolitan areas throughout the nation.

Now I'm concerned about which government or corporate jackasses are salivating over themselves to hijack the movement and use it to there own means.

I got a reply text, actually an organization called Team Taxpayer...I’ll have to do some looking and see who they’re connected with.

Post #34 is not a picture of the teaparty demonstration. We were closer to the capitol and spread out on both sides.

Thanks I got that pic from another thread.
