Elderly computer challenged WWII vet. CholeraJoe is my son. Entered service in 1940. Fought in the Solomon Islands Campaign. Damn near died from dengue fever on Guadalcanal. Fought in the Philippines, and Korea. Retired from the USAF in 1967. Got called back as a civil service employee to engineer the evacuation of US troops from the Republic of Vietnam. Damn near got killed on the last C-130 out of DaNang in 1973.
