Began lurking heavy in '98. Enrolled in '99 or 2000 as WisdomSeeker but have since forgotten password. Never had much luck posting and only tried a couple of times. Became very active in the 2000 Cincinnati marches for Bush. Met a lot of nice people and have many nice photographs for memories. Made and contributed our large posters for these rallies. Did find it very disappointing that with all the pain the country was going through at the time and the previous eight years of torture to our sensibilities, it was a struggle to get more than a couple hundred people at a time to take enough interest to "come out" and stand in the cold for a few hours for such an important cause yet 60,000 would show up the next day to watch a ball game. Sad. Personally: Mid fifties, male, Tennessian by birth, reared in Ohio, veteran USN, father of 2 very responsible daughters, engineer by profession, cabinetmaking is my favorite hobby, taught college part time for over a decade, core beliefs are conservative, deep confederate sympathies.
