I've been 'lurking" here for a year or so, but mostly at work, so I never registered. But I now have good, working home computer and wanted to be able to join in if the spirit moved me.

Words to describe me would be:

Christian, American, Southern, Republican, Libran.

I thank God daily for George Bush and believe that he is indeed the right man at the right time. Do I agree with his every move? Of course not, I am a woman not a sheep, but I believe he is a gracious, sincere man who wants to protect and defend each one of us and counts that as his sacred duty. Our nation is blessed by his presidency.

My best friend of 32 years is a libral democrat. It gives me a certain perspective. We first clashed in college in 1976 over Jimmy Carter. We still clash over Jimmy Carter. But she is a good, Christian person who has been a dear, true friend. I have many people of many political stripes in my sphere of family and friends. Never loose love over politics. But stand for who you are and what you believe always. Yes, you CAN do both.
