I'm (just past) middle age, the owner/publisher/editor of a small weekly newspaper in East Texas. It is, as a matter of fact, the fifth oldest paper in the state, first published in July, 1848. I bought the paper in April from the liberal Cox organization and have since given the people of the town and county a conservative paper ... and that's what most of them wanted. I'm married to a lovely lady from Corpus Christi and I have a 19-year-old daughter who's a sophomore at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. On a flag pole in front of my house I proudly fly the Texas flag and the first Confederate national flag.
