Steve Peacock is founder of U.S. Trade & Aid Monitor, and is a regular contributor to conservative media outlets such as WND and Patriot Update. He is working on a memoir about his thwarted attempt to pursue a career in law enforcement, a path cut short when he was gunned down by a retired New York City police officer. That officer not only was acquitted of attempted murder, but sued Peacock in federal court, where the shooter alleged he was the victim of a campaign of harassment against him and other “people of color.” Peacock ultimately was vindicated, abandoned his dream of joining NYPD, and instead became a journalist, teacher, and actor.
