I'm a mathemetician, historisn and social scientist. I'm a generalist interested in integretating all aspects of human behavior including interaction with the physical environment. As an naive undergraduate in the 60's I switched from a math and physics program to a study of history and political science because politicians didn't seem to understand how to discover solutions to social problems. I no longer feel that politicians of either party care whether they solve social problems. I believe we need a better alternative to the Republican Party than the morally and intellectually bankrupt Democratic Party.

Most of my writing here will involve correcting misrepresentations of scientific issues by the media.
