I'm happy to be here and always look to Free Republic first for breaking news! I'm a patriotic, relatively young, single American woman who is pro-life, pro-kids, but childless.

I value life above all, and for me this also includes pets, but not a la PETA thing. Wearing fur doesn't bother me, but physical cruelty and deliberate neglect to cats, dogs, horses (my passion), etc. will make me almost as enraged as child abuse does. Almost. And that's alot. I think a woman's right to choose ends when she chooses to have sex. After that, it is murder if she decides to abort her baby.

Yes, I am Catholic, and although our religion has not been perfect, I am very faithful and love God. I value people who treat others with respect and who behave with personal dignity. That's why I like coming here.

I also believe that racial profiling of non-US nationals is just fine. Sorry if that offends you, but if they're not US citizens, I feel that right now, at a time of war, we need to be extra careful to protect "our own". Tough luck if the foreigners here don't like it! Go home! Our constitution protects our citizens, not every foreign person who flies or rides though our country.

I love the Unites States and feel so fortunate to have been born here, after all that our ancestors did to fight for our freedom.
