I attended UC Santa Barbara until the end of my junior year. My education was interrupted for 15 years and at the age of 42, I went back to school and completed my B.S. at Hawaii Pacific University.

I own a small business (35 employees) in Honolulu providing presorting, barcoding, lettershop, printing, and fulfillment services for the major first class mailers in Hawaii, i.e., banks, state and federal agencies, universities, etc. This enables the customer to take advantage of the postage discount programs offered by the U.S. Postal Service. We split those discounts with the customer. My company has been in business since 1982.

I am four years into my second marriage. I have three wonderful children in their twenties. My second wife is half my age but, fortunately for me, she is an R.N. specializing in Geriatrics/Gerentology.
