I'm more and more of the opinion the tea party needs to become the Tea Party to, at minimum, keep the Republican Party honest. We could begin by getting representatives into Congress, work locally (as we have been doing), and go from there. Working within the Republican Party carried some risks, which have been showing themselves in Congress as growing hazards, where the GOP wouldn't even be to be potentially betraying their electorate but for tea partiers' work to November of 2010.

We didn't send you Republicans there to put a nicer face on crypto-communist Democratic Party policies, to compromise, or to concede. So start representing us, or get out of the way.
