I have been lurking FREEREPUBLIC.COM since Hillary was doing her "Listening Tour" in advance of running for Senate. I was off line for about 7 years but recently got myself a Netbook. I am a broken-glass Republican and my two grown sons were Rush babies. I do not work. My husband supports me (and I support him supporting me.) I believe Moms should stay at home and raise their kids. My husband does not make a lot of money, we own a modest home, have no credit card debt and spend our money prudently. And we sacrificed so our boys would want for nothing. That's how it's done.

I don't fly, but can't believe the U.S. Congress is allowing citizens to be felt up or seen naked to get on a plane! This is nuts!!!! People do not want Government to listen in on their phone conversations but yet allow it to go into their most personally private areas?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I MEAN REALLY, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This can't be My America! Where are we on this? Why are the U.S. people letting this be allowed?

Everything I need to know about Islam I learned on 9/11. Not all Muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims therefore all Muslims must be suspect. Not little old Swedish ladies and babies. We were hit by Muslims!..I lost 10 people: 2 cousins, 3 friends since childhood, 2 on Flt. 93 and 3 others from clubs I belong to. If you really want to get into my mind...My favorite TV show Is The Match Game. You couldn't do that show today! It's too politically INCORRECT. Innocent jokes about blacks, boobs, Arabs, Zulus, gays, Cannibals and Missionaries. A contestant asked Gene Rayburn if she could say "aphrodesiac" on TV (yes). Match Game '75 is on daily 11:00 and 11:30 am EDT on GSN. Voted Best Game Show Ever...Deservedly so...and they thought the country was going to hell in a handbasket back then! I LOVE IT. Watch it..TIVO it. Ironically, they had more freedom of speech than we do today!
