January 2005 I was diagnosed with lung cancer (stage IIIb). I am not a candidate for surgery. I'm told that I'll be on chemo for the rest of my life. My docs give me two to three years to live at best but I'm gonna surprise them all.

The odds are that only 13% of all lung cancer patients live for five years. Big downside is that 85% of all lung cancer patients die within the first 10 to 12 months.
