I love the South.

I think that I’m about as American as American be.

My father was in the military for 20 some years –now he’s retired. I’m proud to be the daughter of a vet.

I’m a “daddy’s girl” who has always listened to her father and I just so happen to agree with his politics.

Despite his bad reputation, I find Richard Nixon’s life extremely fascinating.

I wish that people would always appreciate our men and women in arms –not just when the country is at war.

I personally think that all young men should serve in either active duty or the reserves.

My family is conservative (but there are different degrees of being "conservative").

I like to listen to both sides of the argument.

I believe in equal opportunity, but also think that one has got to work for what he wants in life and that anything good does not come easy (for most of us, anyway).

I’m married to a Ukrainian –a young man that grew up in the former USSR. He’s getting to be a regular American now and I think he likes it a lot…

A few of my favorite movies are (in no particular order):

1.) Gone with the Wind.

2.) A Clockwork Orange

3.) Amadeus

4.) Private Benjamin

5.) Cape Fear (later version)

6.) Norma Rae

7.) Educating Rita

8.) One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

9.) Boogie Nights

10.) Fargo

11.) In the Heat of the Night

12.) Alien

13.) Forrest Gump

14.) Pulp Fiction

15.) Star Wars

16.) Grease

17.) Lolita (the original)

18.) Babydoll (old movie that must be hard to find)

19.) Zorba the Greek

20.) Malena (an Italian film)

21.) Anna (a Russian film)

22.) Little Big Man

23.) Train Spotting

24.) Portnoy's Complaint

25.) Drugstore Cowboy

One's taste in movies can reveal some things about that person...
