Since Red October in 1917 (e.g., Russia), Communism has murdered over 150 million people in less than 100 years as socialism and communism have imposed their dominion upon countries with devastating genocidal results. For example:

1) Stalin – Communist Russia (40 Million deaths – purges, death camps/gulags, wars, executions etc….)
-2) Mao Tse-tung – Communist China (72 Million Deaths – death camps/gulags, executions, etc… as part of the “Great Leap Forward”)
-3) Pol Pot / Khmer Rouge – Communist Cambodia (3.1 Million deaths – Pol Pot goes to Paris studies Marxism and returns to set up a socialist state by emptying the city of Phnom Penh and sending people into oblivion to starve and parish in slave labor camps.)
-4) Gorbachev – Communist Russia (1.3 Million murdered in Afghanistan in Russia’s quest for a warm water port)
5) Castro – Communist Cuba (hundreds of thousands of deaths and he put his AIDS patients into concentration camps)
6) Kim Jong Il – North Korea (Millions of deaths in Stalinist death camps/gulags – MSNBC and the Observer in the UK have documented this horror)
7) Syrian President Bashar Assad – (Socialist Baath Party) Human rights violations by him and his father are legendary
8) Saddam Hussein – former dictator of Iraq (Socialist Baath Party) – the torture chambers and brutality are legendary as well but very typical for socialist/communist despots (i.e., Stalin, Pol Pot, Kim Jong Il etc…)
9) Eastern Communist Bloc countries during the cold war and the murderous despots who are still in power in China, North Korea, Cuba, Viet Nam etc…. even today.

Much of the world lives in freedom today because of Ronald Reagan’s courage to stand up to socialists abroad and within this country (e.g., mainstream media, Hollywood and university professors etc…).
