I did graduate from the University of Dallas - a much smaller and more conservative school - where I also started a conservative newspaper called “Justice” - which still holds the record as the most successful independent or underground newspaper in the school’s history. The mission of Justice was to preserve the traditionally conservative tradition of UD. We accomplished this goal by compelling the school to disinvite Robert Jensen, a journalism professor invited to speak against the Iraq war, by outing Jensen as a pro-abortion activist to the school’s campus ministry. I also succeeding in having Daniel Flynn speak on campus about his book “Why The Left Hates America”. As an alumnus I assisted students in protesting a visit from Cindy Sheehan by giving a speech on liberalism in higher education at a “Pro-Troops Party” at the same time as Sheehan’s speech in the room next door to where she was scheduled to appear.
I graduated the University of Dallas with a B.A. in 2003 and earned by J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in 2006. I am a member of the bar for the State of Texas and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
