I am a 73-year-old retired systems engineer, veteran, married for 47 years, two daughters, two grandchildren, and a strong conservative who votes Republican. My career was spent in the defense industry as a weapons/communications/intelligence/command & control systems enginer and project manager. I worked for E-Systems, IBM, RCA, Philips, and SAIC. As of several years ago, I was current in many of the defense systems now being used by the Armed Forces, and had made a technical and managerial contribution to some as well.
