My screen name is in honor of the Misesian-Rothbardian economist Hans-Hermann Hoppe, who is known as a culturally conservative libertarian that opposes open borders on the immigration issue.

Hoppe's book, Democracy: The God that Failed: The Economics and Politics of Monarchy, Democracy, and Natural Order, challenges statist and liberal-globalist-egalitarian orthodoxies at their roots.
