I once actually was dumb enough to send an email to the Junior Senator from New York expressing my support for an amendment to the Constitution banning gay marriage, and her reply was .....

"The Constitution is a sacred document and should not be changed to satisfy political ends"

Is that priceless, or what? Someone ought to tell her that the Bible is a sacred document, the Constitution is a political document. Anyway, if she actually believes that, she sure doesn't act it, otherwise she wouldn't be defending Roe v. Wade every chance she gets!
