I am a devout Christian who believes faith by itself in the finished work of Christ saves us from a fate of eternal death/perdition. Salvation is a gift from the Lord and is not gained by giving up smoking, drinking, or “chasing women.’

The gospel is very much undermined by Calvinist pastors who believe that people actually have no say on their eternal destiny. That’s because prior to their birth, in eternity past, God made that fateful decision. Calvinists pose the greatest danger to the evangelical faith today.
