I have spent 30 years traveling and working about Asia and the Middle East.Seven years in Vietnam during the war, eight years in Japan, four years in China, One year in Hong Kong as British colony, one year in Papua New Guinea, two and a half years in Pokhara, Nepal, one year in the Philippines, a year and a half in Iran and two years in Saudi Arabia.I can say in all modesty that I know Asia and the Middle East and just how those in each of the countries where I lived and worked feel about the U.S. Government and about the individual American. I was a World War II Marine in the Pacific. I have written a 739 page novel of the Vietnam War documenting my experiences there. No reputable publishing house wants to look at it. Not after 9/11. I am now working on a novel of China's Tiananmen Massacre as I saw it and other things throughout China.
