Hello all, Watching CSPAN this morning (1/22/06) I was encouraged for the first time to see what all the hoopla surrounding Blogs was for, I had never focused on them prior, but was aware of the blogosphere; - just never thought too much about it - other than the commercial blogs of well known journalsits, such as Michelle Malkin (sp?) Whenvever I tried to check out what I refer to as grass-roots; blog, they were either childish, cultish, sophomoric, or too conspiratorial for me to take seriously, and then, this mornings CSPAN show encouraged me to refocus, so I jotted down the names of some blogs based on the intelligence and thoughtfulness of callers advertising their favorites - It was clear to me that those talking about FR were the most impressive, so here I am, and I am so pleased to say that I now can see why everyone is so exicted over this medium, I have already forwarded several items on to friends and family from the headlines of FR It seems to me that this will be the conduit for the citizens of our great country to regain control from too many of today's political leaders that no longer represent us; So I now proudly join all of you in the process of maintaining our federal republic, which of course can only occur if we all stay involved - I am 40 years old, a Real Estate Investment Banker - and I live in NYC, In the months ahead I will get a blog site up which will offer hundreds of pages that I have written, on a wide variety of topics - but for starters, I will enjoy participating in the debates on existing blogs, need to walk before I run,
