Twenty-eight year-old media professional from the snowy north. Spend much of my time seething inwardly at the ultra-lieberal, limp-wristed thinking that, by default, seems to infect everyone in my professional circle.

I believe that knowledge is power, and that a smarter conservative is a stronger conservative. I’m against the crass, counterproductive anti-intellectualism shown by some of my fellow conservatives. People who speak and write well are NOT automatically “elitists in an ivory tower,” and attempts to caricature well-spoken people as such only hurt the conservative cause and show a willful ignorance. I will not respect you because you claim to be the salt of the earth; I will respect you if you earn my respect.
