I'm a 50ish history teacher (Ph.D. University of Virginia)at a private high school (day and boarding); my wife and I live in a dormitory apartment with 40 boys down the hall. I've been a conservative since high school in the 60's. I'm also an evangelical Christian and an ex-Scoutmaster. My best friend, my brother, is a yellow dog liberal Democrat; I'm continually amazed that our political opinions are so different given identical heredity and nearly idetical environment (he's three years younger). I'm interested in figuring out what makes Libs tick.
