I'll expand this section later. For now: I've been lurking since Drudge exposed Slick and Monica. I join now to add my voice to those concerned with the direction support of our government toward our Armed Forces and the war against Islamofacistism may take.

I've been a Republican since my dad explained that Truman was a Democrat and that there was no way in hell he'd be voting for him. Being a Vietnam Vet and watching what the anti-war lobby, aided and abetted by the news media, did to our troops has only reenforced my commitment to the Republican party and most tenents of modern conservatism.

Even tho the MSM and several Democratic congresspersons have been attempting to trash our troops and the war they are fighting, I haven't been too worried as Republican control of the governmet has provided a reasonable buffer. With the loss of control of both houses I see clear indications that our country may yet again pull the rug from under those dependent upon the U.S. and our troops by cutting off funding of the war. Since then (now 12/13/09) things have changed a little. We have elected a president, seemingly dedicated to the destruction of the constitutional protections, provided within that document. I now fear for the survival of our way of life. God help us all.
