I'm very conservative and fairly active in local political activities.

I hope I don't get lynched because I am a registered Democrat. In my defense, I have conservative Republican ideals and vote mainly for Republicans. The reason I haven't changed my registration is that in this Democratic stronghold in most elections I would have no choice of candidates except in the primary. In the general election Democrats often run unopposed.

I am a Catholic. So that means I am pro-life. I am very active in my parish. I think that there are problems in the Church but there are problems in every religion and society. I don't accept the problems without judgement but I think that many of the problems will require God's intervention and I can only do my part and hope I am discerning my own mission. I have read the religious threads and I probably won't be debating or using apologetics with non-Catholics but I like reading what Catholics have to say and the interesting topics they post. I love learning the history of the Church aand I don't think I will ever learn enough.
