I am an Independent and a Moderate. I want to see the day when we the people can become united as we the people. I see most Americans wanting to be united. Yes politics and our government say we are not united, we are either Republican or Democrat. I believe that the greater majority of Americans long for unity and these two parties do not allow unity. Why are we being portrayed and even encouraged to fight one American Ideology against American Ideology? All sides have different conclusions and fight to condemn the views of others. We need to find a way to overcome this very divisive atmosphere and work to respect each other. Yes we have different views on certain issues; cannot we work out these issues in a respectful and healthy way?
I feel that the political parties want to divide us and I feel we the people should not be divided. It is good for the politicals to keep us divided but it is very bad for us the people to be divided. United we stand, divided we fall. This is our country, a country of all Americans. We need to stop the politicos from dividing Americans. Red States, Blue States matter not when we stand up and say we are all Americans. I hate and fear the divisions of Americans. We are a civilized bunch and I believe that without political influence we the American people could find solutions that would be fair to all our concerns. I pray for our American family to prevail. Yes we may be Democrat or Republican but we are foremost American Citizens!
