First off, if I double-posted again, I am so, so, sorry.

My opinions are inconsistent when it comes to politics, so I can't really categorize myself as a Liberal or Conservative.*

Yes, I'm one of those annoying people who sit near the middle. This is why everything I post will either be a) about President Bush's hella cute dogs or b) inane and useless.

I do, however, dislike sweeping generalizations, like when anyone starts a sentence with the words “All conservatives/liberals are [insert statement]." That's not to say that mud-slinging at both sides of the fence isn't fun (hence, my presence here). Anyway, James Lileks has a great essay on this here.

* Social liberal and an economic conservative here...but I'm not American, so who the hell cares about my political leanings anyway?
