Slavery had been with us for thousands of years before two centuries ago, the civilized world began to recognize as a lie their previously unquestioned norm, "There is nothing a slave can do to maintain his or her intact family; slavery is natural and good."

Abandoned spouses and children of divorce outnumber the judges, the attorneys, the legislators, the court psychologists, and the county money handlers. What a force we can be!
