Abdel-Hafiz is an assistant professor of linguistics and the Dean of Faculty of Arts, South Valley University, Aswan, Egypt. I have an MA (1985), and Ph.D.(1988) in Linguistics from the State University of New York at Buffalo. I have translated a book on Nubian Ceremonial Life into Arabic.
