I started participating here around 1998 as a lurker and officially signed up in 1999. I identify as a doctrinaire conservative with Ronald Reagan as my closest role model, highly emblematic of the initial Free Republic era. I consider myself center-right, moderate-conservative, a constitutionalist, anti-communist/anti-fascist, pro-free market (with necessary sanctions against protectionist adversaries or human rights violators), and tolerant of minorities. However, I oppose extreme “woke” policies when on steroids and unregulated immigration, prioritizing the US Constitution above any one single individual or political party (take close note: I abhor CULTS!) , including figures like Ronald Reagan or Donald Trump.
