1. The Orthodox Church is much more conservative in practice than the Western Church. In general, Orthodox services are the same as determined by the early church. 2. Orthodox Pascha was set at the 1st Great Ecumenical Council at Nicaea in 325. The rule is Pascha is the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Vernal Equinox AFTER Passover. 3. This Council at Nicaea also specified the Nicaean Creed, the symbol of faith, condemned the Arian heresy, and confirmed the dual nature of Christ. 4.
