Why was Turkey, a muslim country with a terrible past, allowed to join NATO? If Turkey attacks Israel and Israel defends against it, will NATO strike Israel? It is starting to look like it.

If Turkey tries to enter Israel from the rear, will Greece help?

If Turkey is stupid enough to attack Israel, NATO has no obligation to assist them.

In fact, if the rest of NATO does not immediately eject Turkey and assist Israel against Turkey, then NATO will be defunct, permanently, and WW3 will be upon us.

Erdogan talks a lot of shiite, but he's probably not that stupid. We'll see.

Article V only comes into force if Israel attacks first, which won't happen.

Because even in the bad old days, the old USSR wanted Constantinople back. The new/old Russia has it as a strategic long term objective.

Israel is at a cross roads. They have functioned as a colony of first the UK and now the US for all of their history. The UK has long since stopped supporting them, and with the decline of religion in the US there is little political reason for the US to continue to support Israel unconditionally. The anti bill of rights bill that was recently passed is a great example of it.

The next decade will determine the political future of Israel.
