That often goes together. Assimilationist Jewish leftward lean is partly traditional from the days when communism was an experiment, not a proven disaster, and partly death wish. But even that has its limits. The swells on the upper east side of Manhattan have got to wake up to the fact that the ivy league schools that used to categorically reject Jews, then switched to meritocracy and accept those qualified, have now become openly anti-Semitic, and that strikes a nerve.
Same thing with Labour in England. Jeremy Corbin and his pals have driven away all but the hardest left, utter lunatic, Jews. So Labour’s ascendancy is not on the Jews. The societal rot, however, transcends mere elections, and is as much on the Jews who participated as it is on the Irish, Welsh, Scottish, Cornish, Northumberland, Midland, Bath and whatever other sub-category of British participated.
The true culprit is post-colonialism, dedicated to the proposition, that since imperialism is bad, and Britain was once imperialistic, everything about Britain is bad. And if there are rats in your barn, you should burn it down along with all the animals and stores of grain contained therein, and lock yourself in as well.
