Agreed. President Trump is privy to a lot more of what’s going on in the country and around the world than we do.
Trump has his reasons for doing/saying what he does.
In this case both the OP and you are true in what you say.
Our gut feelings are still our gut feelings. Regardless of what Trump knows or doesn’t know, more than we do.

Rogers is running against a back stabbing rat pretender in the primary and radical leftist in the general. That is what is going on.
It doesn’t mean that he is good at divining who will make the best candidates. He is a good man who deserves to be reelected President & has earned our love & honor. He has proven that he is good at getting himself elected; his track record with picking other candidates or Cabinet appointees is pretty bad. There is a wholly different skill in understanding the political realities of knowing which candidate will run best in a district & how to craft a winning message.
I’m just not sure how many elections with lousy candidates yall need us to lose before we stop blindly following his c choices off a cliff. I’m so tired of listening to folks on our side blindly say “but I trust Trump”. Well yeah, I do too, where he is concerned. Given the godawful record of the last thee elections, we shouldn’t be taking his advice on other candidates.
I’m loyal- but I’m not blind. In case anyone takes issue with me making a criticism. It’s literally my job- I’m a conservative political consultant & I’m good at my job. My track record on picking candidates & honing messages has kept me busy & employed. I’m also quite sure that that wouldn’t necessarily help me win a race in which I were the candidate. They are 2 different things. Trump has a skill at knowing how to command a crowd, keep everyone interested in hearing more & deliver a winning message for himself & should focus on that! 😉
Yes Trump has his reasons, well so what? After 6 years his reasons are obviously wrong. He hasnt learned anything. Loving the dude doesnt me you have to have a hypocritical and juvenile defense for his total lack of discernment when it comes to others. For the guy who constantly obsesses about and talks about loyalty, and yet is known to have none, is rather strange.
