The guilty verdict against former President Donald Trump reached by a Manhattan jury on Thursday could ultimately be reviewed by the U.S. Supreme Court, legal experts said. Trump was convicted on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in an unprecedented verdict against the presumptive Republican presidential nominee just months before the 2024 election. The verdict is likely to be appealed by Trump’s legal team, however, and experts say the final decision in Trump’s hush-money trial could come down to a ruling from the highest court in the land. Attorney Roger Severino, who is the vice president of Domestic Policy...

Just recently, the National Sheriffs Association claimed there are two million terrorists inside the USA. Please understand all it took was 2,000 terrorists on October 7th to invade Israel and murder, rape, burn, and behead 1,200 innocent souls. Can you imagine what damage and death two million terrorists could do inside the USA? That’s an army bigger than our entire combined armed forces (we have 1.3 million active-duty military). That’s an army bigger than our entire combined police force in the USA (we have 800,000 combined police officers). I’ve written many commentaries warning what they might have planned for America....

Against the backdrop of continuing Russian advances, some Western leaders have started to advocate missile strikes inside Russian territory, from NATO’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg up to chief warmonger, former British Premier Boris Johnson: Now, some European neighboring countries have started preparing to introduce their troops into Ukraine in case of strategic Russian advances in Eastern Ukraine. The Baltic states and Poland have warned Germany that they could send troops to Ukraine if the situation gets noticeably worse for Kiev due to its allies being reluctant to supply it with weapons.

Talk to anyone in my business and they'll all say the same thing: No matter how long you write stories and put them in the newspaper, you are never really sure which ones are going to strike a nerve. What you think might be a Pulitzer-quality epic might draw only a nice call from Mom, while a simple tale tossed off on deadline causes an uproar, or an avalanche of praise. One legendary former investigative reporter at this paper wrote scores of stories that changed laws and saved lives, yet never did he get more mail than when he wrote about...

“My condolences.” “I’m so sorry for your loss.” “My sympathies.” “May he rest in peace.” Raised as we are in Western civilization, we have an instinctive response when we hear of someone’s death, whether by natural causes, by accident, or even by murder. We think first of his or her family and friends, we naturally empathize with their sorrow, and we wish them these words and more, heartfelt and seriously. We would be sad if a loved one died, and we assume that everyone must have loved ones. Our sympathy is automatic. One wouldn’t think this would be a problem,...

The Biden administration is pumping out dozens of federal rules this spring in a mad dash to cement the president’s legacy on everything from airfare refunds to beef labeling.

President Joe Biden and his allies are already campaigning on these policies, working to bolster his support among constituencies including young people, labor unions, rural communities and climate-conscious voters. But beyond the campaign trail, the timing of this blitz is designed to ensure that Biden’s policies have their best shot at surviving the deregulatory fervor of another potential Donald Trump White House and Republican-controlled Congress.

Trump Campaign Attorney Christina Bobb was horrified after newly unsealed court documents revealed that the FBI was authorized to use deadly force against former President Donald Trump and his associates during the politically motivated raid at Mar-a-Lago in August 2022. The documents unsealed by Judge Aileen Cannon on Tuesday, stemming from special counsel Jack Smith’s classified documents case against Trump, detail the FBI’s controversial raid. One particularly disturbing aspect of these filings is the ‘Operations Order.’ The disclosed “Operations Order” from the FBI outlined the protocol for engaging with Trump and his security team during the raid, which was authorized...
