Isaac needs a wife, but Abraham wants her to be from his family. So he sends his chief servant to find her. He prays, and then Rebekah appears as the answer to that prayer. Moreover, she agrees to leave her home and become Isaac's wife--sight unseen!
Without Rebekah there is no Jacob, and thus no Jesus. Enjoy and reflect upon these renditions by two dozen artists of Rebekah and her story.

The Bible does not specify, either by quantity or name. Since Adam lived 930 years, and Eve may have had a similar lifespan, a reasonable conjecture is that they produced many daughters.
