The former Republican governor of Ohio has said he believes there could be a secret plot underway that would see the Democrats replace Biden as the party's presidential candidate before November's election.
John Kasich, whose own half-hearted bid for the presidency in 2016 ended in failure, said he believes poor polling data coupled with Biden's poor performance at public speaking events has given Democrats a reason to look for alternative candidate.
Kasich, 72, made the assertions on Democrat-leaning MSNBC on Friday night.

In the running presently (he’s doing a lot of campaign chatter) is Gov Newsom of California.
I’d go and suggest that Michelle Obama will be scheduled for a opening speech, and she might be ‘drafted’.
Beyond them....AOC might be a remote possibility.
If Newsom had any success stories...would be a easy sales job. But I can’t think of a single story that I’d go and brag about for California for the past decade. Michelle Obama? Three-line resume?

1. Biden is a complete fail in debates. His operators are expecting this.
2. Massive leftwing protests at DNC with lots of yelling of "Genocide Joe". Operators are prepared.
3. Superdelegates modify rules at convention so they can cancel Joe on the first round and claiming (incorrectly) as a result of the will of the protestors.
4. Superdelegates substitute Michelle and she is elected by acclamation.
5. Operators are hoping that Trump will refer to Michelle even just once as "Big Mike" which would completely derail his campaign.
I give it a 50/50 chance that Trump won't call Michelle "Big Mike" at least once.
the inability to broadcast the details must involve cooperation from the “Right” given such coordination is ultimately a secret not well kept.

No, I think it’s ridiculous. There would be too much risk of backlash at this point. At this point, they just have to play up the value of incumbency.
