I guess that would mean you’d have no problem with torturing lions, bears, lions, orcas....and bald eagles, because in your moral calculus they’re “evil.”
I did not say that they are evil, just that it is a predator. I don’t anthromorphize wild animals and state that they don’t deserve whatever death they received because of their morality or immorality.
Nature is brutal, most predators kill for fun, and eventually, they find themselves on the other side of the equation. (Go watch videos of old male lions having their balls ripped off by the younger males in their pride). I don’t mourn any wild animal that suffers a “natural” death. I have even less sympathy for wolves because they are dangerous to humans and human enterprise.
