A Colorado university’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate violates the U.S. Constitution, a federal court has ruled.
The Sept. 1, 2021, mandate “clearly violates the Establishment Clause and the Free Exercise Clause as interpreted by our precedents,” a majority of a U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit said in the May 7 decision. While the mandate was later updated, the newer version also violates the Constitution, the judges said.
The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in 2021 required COVID-19 vaccination of all students and employees. It initially offered religious exemptions to anyone who checked a box, but later said administrators would “only recognize religious exemptions based on religious beliefs whose teachings are opposed to all immunizations.”
Officials, for instance, said that Christian Scientists would qualify for an exemption but Buddhists would not.

The appeal was brought by the Thomas More Society on behalf of the students and employees.
“The University of Colorado ran roughshod overstaff and students of faith during COVID, and the court of appeals has now declared plainly what we’ve fought to establish for almost three years: the university acted with ‘religious animus’ and flagrantly violated the fundamental religious liberties of these brave healthcare providers and students,” Peter Breen, executive president of the society, said in a statement.

It gives those, who were forced to choose between their education and Constitutional rights a basis for a lawsuit.
So does this mean they were okay to force all staff and students who didn’t have a specific religious reasons?

My question is, did they mandate because they believed the shot was effective? Or because they wanted to reduce the campus population?

They did it because they enjoyed the feeling of power. University administrators love having an “emergency” to deal with since it increases their power over others and makes them feel special.

My wife was fired from Hamilton College because of her refusal to take the vax. There were many others in that situation but noting will be done to rectify the injustice, many more died or were injured. I for one, am glad that she did not get the jab!
I know it’s easily dismissed as a cliché, but the parallels to Nazi Germany is stunningly similar. Think back to all those people, a majority of this country, who were 100% completely knowingly and willing to subvert the Constitution, the Nuremberg Code, and common human morality to force other humans to get an experimental injection. These same people agreed it was not only acceptable to completely villify and destroy anyone who didn’t submit, it was their duty to hunt down and go after such people.
I personally was chased down in public stores for refusing to wear a mask. My daughter was denied access to college for refusing the vax. Anyone who questioned the vax or mask mandates were ridiculed or destroyed. People needlessly died alone. People died directly from the vax. People were maimed. There was a very real totalitarian evil in the air very similar to 1930s Germany. It bothers me greatly how quickly we have either forgotten or dismissed what happened.
Time to write laws that mandatory immunization is unconstitutional....not for religious reasons but for one’s own right to choose to be “treated”.
It should open the door to damages. Not from the vaccine (that is protected by congress) but the policy.
Where was this court in 2021, when people’s livelihoods and freedoms were being crushed with impunity?

This is about participants in experimental testing...
I learned more about how the Holocaust happened just by being alive in 2021 and 2022 than I have from reading almost half a century of history books prior.
