The problem is they are not taught to read and write english or basic mathematics in NY public schools. It ain’t got nuthin’ to do with technology.
While I do not doubt for a moment that NY schools are severely lacking in teaching basic fundamentals in order for students to be able to eventually be capable of navigating society, the “problem” here is that Hochul singled out black students that are lacking.
It’s the same as when Democrats say that voter ID laws are racist because it negatively affects mostly the black community, the implication (and the ‘rats belief) being that blacks are too stupid to be able to get an ID and/or are too lazy.
Correct.
NY Gov. said, “don’t know what the word ‘computer’ means.”
She did not say, “don’t know what a ‘computer’ is.”
